Cyber security legend John McAfee is ready to hack iPhone for the FBI

The “war” between the FBI and Apple for an iPhone of a criminal lately has been many interesting developments. On the side of Google and Microsoft, they have defended and supported Apple against the orders of the FBI. In addition, an anti-virus expert has voiced to help the FBI hack that iPhone.

As we all know, the FBI is still having many difficulties in decoding iPhone of the gunman who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California State before committing suicide. Meanwhile, the FBI’s request to open a backdoor for the iPhone has been refused outright by Apple, saying that this would affect their customers’ privacy. However, according to recent information from the AJC, a security legend John McAfee has kindly requested to help the FBI.

McAfee has also explained his actions because he does not want the relationship with Apple to become worse. He said he and his colleagues would decipher free the information on the iPhone 5C in the San Bernardino affair. They will give results in 3 weeks. If accepting, the FBI does not need to ask Apple to open a backdoor because it is an end to the nation. He stressed that this was very simple for them, and as for Apple, they did not need to worry about security issues for their products. He also said authorities had invoked a “vague” and “as old as the hills” law since 1789 (All writs Act law) to require Apple to open a backdoor on iOS for the FBI. This action will bring fantastic benefits for hackers more than disclosure of nuclear materials to China and Russia.

John McAfee is also known in his position as a presidential candidate of the Liberal Party with the slogan “Security, Freedom and Technology”. Therefore, this may be a perfect problem for him to resolve and attract more attention.

Besides, McAfee expressed on CNN, that the war was over the period when people just needed to hold gun to see who shoot more accurately. Now, many modern technologies are commonly used in the war, and if the leaders of the FBI do not know what they are fighting with, they should leave their chair as soon as possible.

Earlier, the US federal court has adjudicated and required Apple to unlock the iPhone, but soon CEO Tim Cook refused because this would affect not only their customers’ privacy but also sales in the future.
